It is a privilege and honor to serve as the pastor of the Walter Hill First Baptist Church family. We have come to recognize that God is at work around us and is pursuing an intimate love relationship with each of us which is real and personal. We believe God cares for sinful, hurting, and needy persons.

It is our desire to be faithful to join God in His work as He reveals this to us. By God's grace, our church family has the opportunity to be Christ's body to witness and minister to the lost and hurting of our community.

We believe Jesus' priority has always been people. God is concerned about a person's spiritual and physical needs. We believe that every Christian is called to walk with Jesus and that He calls each of us to the work of service to others.

The greatest need a person has is to be forgiven of his or her sins and their name added to the Lamb's Book of Life. We believe that this saving faith comes by hearing the Word of God and we are committed to sharing that good news with anyone who will listen. Our hearts desire is that all would repent and believe on Jesus as Savior and Lord.

We believe the Holy Spirit lives in believers today to empower us to minister and serve others effectively. We believe the leaders of the church are given to the church to equip every Christian for their particular work of service in God's Kingdom. Every Christian is responsible to discover, develop and fulfill their calling in following Jesus.

We believe that Walter Hill First Baptist Church belongs totally to Jesus Christ. We desire everything we do to glorify Him. Our joy is in Him and we invite all who will to join us as we celebrate the wonderful love relationship and fellowship we have in Christ!
